“USA, USA …”, in New York City nahe dem Ground Zero, dort wo einst die Twin Towers standen, bekunden Amerikaner, darunter einige uniformierte Soldaten und Veteranen, mit patriotischen Rufen ihre Zufriedenheit über die erfolgreiche US-Kommando-Operation in Pakistan und das finale Ausschalten des Al Qaida Terror-Führers und Hauptverantwortlichen für die Anschläge des 11. September 2001 auf das World Trade Center in der Stadt und das Pentagon in Washington D.C. sowie weitere tödliche Attentate gegen US-Einrichtungen u.a. die Botschaften in Tansania und Kenia im Jahr 1998.

Kandahar Airfield/Afghanistan

Im Einsatzgebiet Afghanistan schauen sich in Kandahar Airfield im ISAF Regional Command South US-Soldaten der ISAF-Truppe mit Gelassenheit die Berichterstattung und Übertragung des Rede des US-Präsidenten zur Militäroperation gegen Osama bin Laden im Fernsehen an, denn sie wissen, der gefahrvolle Kampf ist damit noch nicht zu Ende,die Taliban-Offensive ist angekündigt, jede Patrouille birgt Lebensgefahr, die Insurgents leben noch und Afghanistan ist von selbsttragender Sicherheit noch weit entfernt.
