No money – no mission!

“The contingent paymaster is not very well known to most KFOR troops. But if you have no money – you will have no mission,” says Swedish contingent paymaster Captain (OF-2) Jörgen Lingh.
“To ensure operating capability you need to be able to supply your contingent with all the necessaries. So the paymaster is as important as any part of the chain for the troops to be able to do their job,” he continues.

Paymasters and staff from 18 KFOR-nations gathered at the Swedish camp, Camp Victoria for what is known as the “Paymaster meeting”.
This is a KFOR-wide meeting where paymasters from all the different countries meet to exchange invoices, settle accounts and exchange information. The largest bills for most contingents pertain to food stuffs and diesel. In KFOR there is also a complex method of cost sharing. STORY
